MICROBIOLOGIST
JOB DETAILS
Monitor and control cleaning and sanitizing program for all
processing equipment and bottling equipment and carry out microbiological
analysis to check the effectiveness of the cleaning and sanitizing procedures
for all equipment.
• Carry out microbiological analysis on intermediate and
final products to ensure distribution of high quality products to the market
place to refresh the consumers.
• Ensure good Housekeeping /Hygiene practices of
infrastructure and work environment within the manufacturing and total plant
operating area.
• -Ensure implementation of Consumer complaints reduction
programs.
• -Ensure lockers in cloakroom are kept free of all unwanted
materials
• Carry out microbiological analysis on all ingredients, raw
and packaging materials, process inspection, intermediate products and finished
products to ensure production of high quality products.
• Provide leadership for and facilitate the formalization of
plants’ manufacturing / operational processes.
• Ensure full implementation of HACCP and microbiological
monitoring programs within the manufacturing function.
• Ensure full implementation of Pest control of the plant
• Ensure plant operations is in compliance with all local
and TCCC requirements on Environmental Management System set to preserve and
protect the operating environment through effective

QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER
JOB DETAILS
Coordinate all quality, food safety and environmental
activities.
Develop and implement appropriate procedures in line with
the Coca-Cola operating requirement and ISO standard to ensure products meet
stipulated quality and food safety standards.
Ensure that all generated waste are properly managed.
Prepare financial budget to support actualization of goals,
targets and plans set in the business plans.
Attends plant’s monthly and weekly management reviews, other
planning sessions and other business activities in order to achieve plants
corporate objective.
Ensure the general aesthetics and safety at workplace for
product, personnel, manufacturing facility and equipment according to the food
industry standards/specifications at all times by enforcing the implementation
of cleaning and sanitation program (GMP), identification of critical control
points (HACCP) and proffers measures to monitor and forestall any possible food
safety issues that can adversely affect consumer health and company image.
Quick response and resolution of consumer complaints .
Identify the root cause of consumer complaint and develop
appropriate corrective action.
Ensures facility wastes (solids, liquid, gases) are
discharged in line with procedures that conform to Company and Government
(international, national and local) standards which guarantee environmental
protection and promote corporate citizenry.
Attends to government and regulatory agencies to ensure
conformance to all statutory requirements. i.e. NAFDAC, SON, State and Federal
Environmental Agencies, State Ministry of Health, Federal Ministry of Commerce
– Weights and Measures Dept., etc

PLANT SAFETY MANAGER
JOB DETAILS
To ensure the maintenance of a safe working environment/safe
work conducts whilst complying with all relevant statutory and company
regulations concerning occupational health and safety in the workplace
Manage the operations of contractors and external visitors
and ensure that they comply with safety guidelines.
Advise on OHS trends and indicators.
Develop programs and plans to achieve OHS objectives.
Consult with external authorities and other industry/company
experts in order to keep a— of regulatory changes and industry best practice.
Monitor and inspect fire infra facilities and ensure
reliability in event of fire emergency.
Conduct routine drills to test Emergency preparedness for
all likely emergency scenarios.
Provide first aid facilities and ensure that first Aid
replaceable kits are up to date, available and accessible.
Provide and maintain Walk ways and ensure that vehicle and
Pedestrian walkways are not obstructed.
Provide and maintain clearly marked muster and fire assembly
points and ensure that they are always free of obstruction.
Issue Work Permits for Hazardous tasks.
Provide Timely logging of incidents and ensure closure in
the IMCR Database.
Provide PPE for workers and adequate storage facilities.
Conduct inspection of forklift trucks and monitor the
activities of forklift operators.
Conduct safety inspections of material handling
equipment. Ensure safe warehouse
stacking of materials and finished products.
Conduct toolbox talks and pep talks.
Inspect all modifications and installation plant and
equipment before commissioning.
Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of the premises.
Conduct Safety inspection of equipment including machine
safeguarding, portable electrical devices.
Conduct routine inspection of first aid facilities.
Develop, implement and maintain a Safety Management System
on KORE and OHSAS 18001 Standards.
Prioritize and provide advice in a timely manner on OHSAS
18001 implementation.
Supervise the Plant’s Health and Safety program.
Facilitate internal audits of the safety management systems.
Seek out and/or provide Health & Safety problem solving
ideas and solutions in response to issues identified that reflect best practice
within the company or industry.
Review all safety rules on a regular basis and, where
necessary, recommend suitable changes.
Investigate all accidents and damage to Plant property,
identify root causes and recommend action to prevent re-occurrence.
Ensure timely and accurate submission of Safety reports to
plant management and to Head office.
Maintain accident records and other safety documentation.
Education level
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Sciences and Professional
Qualification in Occupational Health & Safety (Health & Safety qualification
(OHSAS 18001 and NEBOSH International General Certificate in Occ

Masters Degree and Membership of Safety Professional Body

Production management experience within a beverage/soft

Ability to investigate and identify root causes behind
H&S issues/incidents and develop pragmatic options for resolution.
Project management skills. Good time management skills
