RECRUITMENT MANAGER
ROLE SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Our resourcing teams are at the heart of our ability to
attract and hire the very best talent available to drive our continued growth.
As a result of our strategic recruitment planning, business focus and
increasing regional growth we are seeking to hire a Recruitment Manager to lead
Oil and Gas Recruitment for West Africa based in Nigeria.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Partner with business to gather specific customer needs
related to recruitment and develop and execute recruitment plan focused on
commercial growth
• Ensure delivery of metrics, particularly hiring cycle time
and localisation
• Develop talent sourcing strategy for O&G in w. Africa
utilizing multiple hiring channels to deliver local candidates
• Partner with internal customers to develop long term
talent pipe lining
• Drive proactive talent acquisition activity and
headhunting in region
• Lead process transformation, process improvement and
simplification projects
• Share best practice to develop team and customer knowledge
and skills
• Support University and development program hiring
• On time delivery of all required Government reporting
relating to Recruitment
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum 5 years’ plus relevant recruitment/HR experience
• Extensive people leadership; experience of leading and
managing HR/Recruitment teams
• Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal
skills.
• Excellent consultative account management and business
partnering skills with stakeholders at all levels
• Must be detailed oriented, organised and able prioritize
complex multiple tasks and projects
• Proven ability to work well in a fast paced and complex
organization
• Must be able to develop and implement complex processes
across multiple locations
• Metric and SLA focused
• Process and compliance focused
• Demonstrable strategic thought-leadership, vision and
innovation to drive improved performance, recruitment processes and tools
• Strong business acumen
• Expert in current technology which supports the
identification, acquisition and on boarding of top talent using a broad range
of creative sourcing channels, including data mining, advertising, direct
research, networking and internet and database search
• Must possess right to live and work in Nigeria
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS
• Familiarity with recruitment management systems,
preferably Kenexa Brassring
• Engineering and technical recruitment experience
• Knowledge of local labor legislation and requirements
• Project management skills
• Degree in Business, Human Resources or a related field
