CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the articulation and implementation of sound control
frameworks as well as policies, procedures and processes in line with leading
practices
Ensure the establishment of sound financing and investment
strategies aimed at ensuring the business maintains an optimal capital
structure and operates within acceptable cost of capital thresholds.
Articulate (working with relevant parties) effective
mechanisms for managing the businesses financing risks (interest rate,
liquidity, FX etc.)
Oversee the budgeting process and implementation of budgets.
Establish effective budgetary controls and expenditure procedures.
Champion the effective and pragmatic management of the
company’s asset base/portfolio ensuring the institution of relevant value
preserving and risk mitigating safe guards. This will include and is not
limited to overseeing the implementation of asset acquisition, deployment and
management frameworks, ensuring optimal insurance coverage on assets etc.
Oversee the preparation and approval of all financial
reporting materials and reports for management and board of directors, prepare
and communicate monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A good first degree and relevant professional certification
(ACA/ACCA, CFA, etc ) are a must have. A post graduate qualification such as an
MBA or MSC (Finance) is an added advantage.
Must possess a minimum of twelve (12) years relevant
experience spanning accounting, finance and treasury roles,three (3) of these
must have been in executive management capacity.
Prior experience working within a joint venture arrangement
will be an added advantage.
Prior experience managing the finance function of a medium
to large sized organization within the oil and gas sector
CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify and direct new revenue generationcross sellingscope
expansion opportunities to the business.
Prepare detailed technical proposals including scope of work
and services offered to customers and identify any clarifications or exceptions
to customer’s’ enquiry.
Prepare detailed commercial proposals which should include
cost estimates, payment terms and conditions, delivery
schedule, performance/ equipment warranty, offer validity
and confidentiality agreement.
Develop and maintain the company’s proposal database
including database of sub-supplier quotation of materials/equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A good first degree and a post graduate degree, such as an
MBA, would be an added advantage.
Minimum of ten (10) – twelve (12) years relevant experience;
at least three (3) to five (5) of which should have been in
senior management capacity.
Must have had responsibility for the business development in
an established entity within the oil and gas industry.
Must have deep network and connections within the oil and
gas sector
HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER

Review internal HSE policies, procedures and practices to
ensure they are current and accurate; conduct hazard and risk assessments and

Maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and
prepare across the company to create a culture that prioritizes effective nd
balances overall associated costs.
Conduct site audits and visits to all company’s projects and
facilities to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and HSE management
system.
Conduct pre-occupational risk assessments on new project
sites and design risk mitigation measures.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A good first degree and a relevant post graduate
qualification, preferably relevant certification and/or an MBA will be an added
advantage.
A minimum often (10) years industrial safety experience in
managing projects and large scale operations.
High degree of conversance with international HSE
requirements in the oil and gas industry.
LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE OFFICER

HR BUSINESS PARTNER

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide proactive human resource support around recruitment,
training, performance management, reward etc to meet thebusiness needs and
enable the delivery of its strategic objectives
Propose, develop and implement sound human resource
policies, practices and procedures in line with the business overall direction
and leading practices
Work with the senior management team to own the process of
putting in place Sound performance management and reward practices ensuring
objectivity, equity, transparency and merit
Support on-going projects and functions with effective
succession planning through robust regular reviews of personnel in key
positions (permanent & temporary)
Serve as a key change agent supporting the business to
communicate and navigate change as applicable
Serve as a key ambassador of the business value and culture,
putting in place programs for employee communication and engagement
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A good first degree in social sciences or humanities with
relevant professional certification and/or post graduate degree.
A minimum of ten (10) years work experience of which at
least three (3) to five (5) years should be in a generalist role with good
exposure to practices within the oil and gas industry generalist role with good

TEAM LEAD, COMMERCIAL – LEGAL

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in conducting periodic legal risk and compliance
reviews on and make recommendations for addressing any contravention to the
Departmental Head.
Examine/analyse legal implications of contractual documents
and transactions between unit companies and third parties and between the
corporate office and third parties
Draft, negotiate, administer, interpret and advise on
agreements, letters, forms and other legal documents relating to unit companies
and the Group.
Keep a— of relevant laws/regulations and pronouncement
impacting the respective operations and advice on the impact of such on
existing and prospective contracts.
Support operating companies in ensuring the terms and
conditions of contracts are appropriate given the Group’s context and vision
and are sufficiently robust and balanced.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A first degree in Law.
Qualifying legal qualification for admission into the
Nigerian Bar and registration by the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Minimum of eight (8) years post-call experience with a bias
towards commercial law.
TEAM LEAD, ENTERPRISE CONTROL & COMPLIANCE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
To provide support to the Group in risk management,
compliance, performance management, financial reporting and other special
projects.
Design and execute testing of internal controls and conclude
on the internal controls effectiveness of all Group entities.
Participate in the development and review of the annual
strategic audit plant.
Report risk management issues and internal controls
deficiencies identified and provide recommendations for improvement.
Carry out financial analysis/analytical reviews of Group
entities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A good first degree in a relevant course of study with
relevant professional qualification (ACA/ACCA, CISA).
Minimum of eight (8) years work experience in an audit, risk
management or internal control role.
Prior work experience in a reputable audit/advisory firm.
HEAD OF FINANCE

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the management, analysis and reporting of a group
entity’s financial assets in line with the requirements of International
Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), generally accepted accounting practices
and company accounting practices.
Design, implement and periodically refine a pragmatic system
of controls to drive sustained compliance with laid down polices and mitigate
the business financial and operational risks.
Liaise with the risk management department to design and
implement appropriate controls and risk management framework as well as
relevant supporting policies and procedures for the businesses
Work with relevant departments in designing appropriate
management reporting frameworks and dashboard to enable easy monitoring of
company performance and enable seamless management decision making
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of the business
financial statements in line with appropriate reporting standards and
organisational accounting policies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A good first degree in a relevant discipline and relevant
professional qualifications e.g ACA/ACCA.
Minimum often (10) years finance experience with at least
three (3) years at managerial level.
Must have strong real estate exposure as well as prior audit
experience.
SECRETARY/PERSONAL ASSISTANT

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide proactive and robust secretarial support to the CEO.
Manage the CEO’s schedule and effectively manage all meeting
logistics.
Draft documents such as briefing papers, reports,
presentations and letters for and on behalf of the CEO.
Act as the first point of “meet and greet” at all levels of
seniority for and on behalf of the CEO.
Oversee the logistics of travel, visas and accommodation and
occasionally travel with the CEO to provide general assistance at
meetings/presentations.
Maintain a robust cataloguing and documentation system
ensuring proper safeguarding and ease of retrieval.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
A good first degree in Secretarial Studies.
Minimum of five (5) years’ work experience in a similar
capacity.
