Our client, who is into IT Consultancy services, Software solutions, Systems Integration and Process Transformation, located in Lagos Nigeria, is recruiting for the following position:

1.    Job Title: Software Development Officer

Job Description: This position is responsible for:

i.     Business Requirements Definition

ii.     Business Process Definition

iii.     Software Solutions Analysis and Design

iv.     Software Solutions Development

v.     Applications Documentation

Job Requirements: B.Sc. computer science, engineering, math or related subjects or equivalent, minimum of 2.2, with at least 2 years’ post NYSC experience in applications design, development and documentation.

Knowledge of following technologies is essential:

i.      Deep knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle

ii.     Deep understanding of software development with the use of various frameworks such as MVC.

iii.     Deep knowledge of any of the following RDBMS – Oracle, SQL Server or MySQL.

iv.     Hands-on knowledge of any of these development platforms – Java, .Net or PHP

v.     Hands-on knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, Json and jQuery

Knowledge of any of following technologies is desirable:

i.         Windows servers 2003 or later editions

ii.         Linux OS

iii.         Any flavour of Unix OS

Qualification in any of the following certifications is essential:

i.         Java

ii.         .Net

iii.         Oracle or SQL Server

iv.         Prince2 or PMP
